What could be better than the combination of Earl Grey tea and lavender?
Lavender and Earl Grey is a classic pairing in the tea world. The bright citrus notes of bergamot (which is what gives Earl Grey it's signature flavor) find the perfect foil in the slightly sweet and woodsy floral notes of lavender.
Although a traditional "London Fog" is served hot with steamed milk and a dash of vanilla, this "Local Lavender London Fog" uses Virginia grown lavender infused simple syrup from Soul Soleil Farm instead of vanilla. Serve it over ice with your milk of choice and this is sure to become your next favorite drink for slow mornings, lazy afternoons, and afternoon tea in the garden.
Do you live in Central Virginia? Visit Pétale at one of our Pop Up Shops and you can purchase all the ingredients you need for your own Iced Lavender Fog (except, of course, the milk).
